Hi, I'm Amy Forbes-Larkin — ABOC, NCLEC, RDO, and the owl behind Wise Old Owl Optical Company.

I spent years as an optician with a major eyewear retailer, where I learned the craft — and also learned what the experience was missing. Appointments felt rushed. Choices felt limited. And nobody seemed to have time to really look at the person behind the prescription.

So I went independent — and mobile. Now I bring the whole boutique to you: a hand-picked frame collection, professional fitting tools, and the one thing a store can't offer — unhurried, one-on-one attention.

Glasses aren't just vision correction — they're the first thing people notice about your face. The right pair should fit your prescription, your features, and your personality. My job is to find that pair with you, not for you.
